This is a great monitor for gaming but I don't use it for that. This is the ideal work space monitor and helps me to be more productive. I upgraded from a 1080p monitor and it was like upgrading to three monitors in one --- no exaggeration! 4k has so many more pixels per screen allowing you to have three browsers viewable simultaneously. If you use a 2nd monitor for increased work flow you may not need it after upgrading to this.
The picture is crystal clear and I love the blue light filter option to reduce strain on my eyes during my long work days. The curve of the monitor gives it a more natural look to my eyes which further reduces strain. This monitor was a significant upgrade for my work flow and I highly recommend it!
